The whole CEA group went to dinner tonight at a local resturant called K.C. Blakleys. It was a small little resturant on Shop street, and it was definitly an interesting experience. We were served a starter, a main course, and dessert. There were about 3 starters to choose from, and about 5 dinner choices, no choice for dessert. For my starter I was served a dish that consisted of about 5 or 6 balls of a mixture of watermelon, cantalope, and honeydew...and you know what was on the side? Ham. It looked more like raw bacon actually...I should have taken a picture of it. It was quite strange. Then for my main course I got the K.C. Blakleys boxty burger. It was basically a burger with a boxty underneath it....a boxty is similar to a potato pancake but it is mashed potatoes with a bit of onion and chives. Then they brought a bowl of potatoes to go on the side of everyones main dish. The food was actually quite tasty, even if it was a bit strange. For dessert we had this pudding type thing with strawberry's on top...it was weird too, but tasty. All in all it was a nice time, and it was free, compliments of CEA.
Then after dinner a group of us headed out to a pub to hear some music. The music didn't start for an hour or so, but it was cool just sitting around and chatting with everyone. The whole group seems pretty cool, except for the girls who want to go out and drink every night, they are nice, but I wouldn't want to spend too much time with them. Then we got to walk home in the rain...my clothes are pretty soaked, even though I had my rain jacket on. All in all it was a pretty nice end to the second day.
Below are some pictures I took on the way to dinner and at random times while we were walking to the pub and such.
This is part of the harbor, I took it from the taxi on the way to the restaurant.

I took this pictures because I thought it was a neat bit of art...even if it is graffiti
I thought this store had a funny name so I took a picture of it...it is a "green" store...hence the name.
This is what happens when old Ireland and new Ireland mix...lol you want to know the even weirder thing? This picture was taken at about...10pm. Crazy huh?
