Single Digits

Tomorrow marks the start of the single digit countdown for the days left before I leave for Ireland. I really thought this day would never come back when the count was still at, oh say...200+ days. I will be on that plane and on my way before I know it.

All my plans are set, itineraries made, directions printed, and I have even started packing. I feel as if I am just going through the motions...making plans for a trip that is never going to happen. It hasn't started to feel real, even though it is only several days away. I just hope it will feel real when I arrive.

So now, there are just a few loose ends that need to be tied up but other than that I just get to sit back and relax and watch the number of days till I leave slowly, but surely, dwindle down to zero. Oh what a happy day that will be... :)
